Emily's Story
I reached out to Abi as part of a bigger “life change”. She looked friendly, and appeared incredibly knowledgable, making the daunting task seem achievable and the gym experience seem enjoyable.
When I started my goals were to gain strength, and confidence in the gym, losing weight, and ultimately developing the skills needed to ensure working out is always a part of my weekly routine.
I worked with Abi for abut 8 months and in that time my relationship with nutrition has changed completely, I have a much greater understanding of how food can fuel my body for more energy, for greater self confidence and for progressing in the gym.
The one thing that has really surprised me is how much I rely on the routine and experience of being in a gym and environment like Stanza.
What also stood out to me, which has been different to other experiences with trainers (and gyms) I’ve had before, is that Abi truly cared about each session, each check-in and beyond the gym, what and who I am in the real world. It was incredibly rewarding to have Abi's guidance and motivation every week, even when I didn't feel on top of my own goals and progress, Abi was the cheerleader and inspiration I needed
