Rachel's Story
I started working with Abi because I wanted to try something new in terms of exercise and fitness but also to learn how to weight and strength properly (rather than just going to the gym and guessing!). Abi had been recommended to me and she came across really knowledgeable, dedicated and motivated to help me personally. She was also just a really lovely person that I knew I would get along with and enjoy doing the sessions with.
My goals were to tone up, become stronger, and, as a bonus, lose some weight. I accomplished all of those goals to a good extent in just over 3 months!
Coaching with Abi gave me a much more positive attitude towards my body and overall health/fitness. It just always felt like I was doing something really positive for it. I also then had more energy and felt more motivated and positive in all aspects of my life generally.
I was surprised by how quickly I progressed and built up strength even training with Abi just once a week. I felt like the sessions were always well rounded and progressive.
Whilst I understand it’s difficult to always be motivated, I reminded myself of how good I feel when I am training consistently and eating healthily but also by not letting small setbacks get me down.
My favourite thing about coaching with Abi is how fun it genuinely is to train (even at 6 in the morning!). She was great at pointing out my progress in my training and I found it really helped seeing (and feeling) that progression week by week.
