Danni's Story
I have been working with Abi for around 10 weeks. I really wanted to start working with a trainer to make my training more effective and efficient. I also wanted the motivation and accountability because I was feeling a bit lost and directionless with how my current training was.
I chose Abi because she is approachable, experienced, and extremely knowledgeable. I have felt that she has tailored my training to perfectly meet my needs and goals and I am enjoying coming to the gym much more as a result following my training plan.
When I first started I wanted to increase my strength and cardiovascular fitness to achieve testing standards required for a job I would really like, and to compete in powerlifting this year. Since training with Abi, I have improved my strength stamina and also feel much more confident in my form when lifting heavier. Abi has helped me get back into my overhead pressing with good form, which I have been nervous about following a previous injury. I have increased my upper body strength considerably as a result and have made good progress with pull ups!
Abi has helped me to enjoy exercise again through a diverse and challenging training program. I feel that Abi promotes a healthy relationship with exercise, nutrition and body image. Since training with her, I have been surprised how much difference it makes to training when engaging different muscle groups. Abi has a keen eye for technique which has significantly improved my training performance. The smallest adjustments can make a huge difference to the effectiveness of training!
If you’re considering training with Abi, go for it! Training with her has been enjoyable and a great investment to health and fitness. My favourite things about coaching with her are knowledgeable and enjoyable workouts but also, great chat!
